How to apply your DTF & UV DTF transfers

DTF — Heat Press

130–140°C · 10–15 seconds · firm, even pressure · hot peel · final press 3–5 seconds.
1. Lay the garment flat, clean and dry; pre-press 3–5 seconds. 2. Place the transfer printed side up and align it. 3. Press at 130–140°C for 10–15 seconds with firm, even pressure. 4. Peel the carrier while hot — if it lifts, lay it back down and press again. 5. Cover with baking paper, parchment or a Teflon sheet and press 3–5 seconds.

DTF — Home Iron

Cotton/linen setting · steam OFF · approx. 130–150°C if digital · firm body-weight pressure · hot peel.
1. Use a firm, flat, heat-safe surface — avoid padded ironing boards. 2. Place the transfer printed side up and align it. 3. Press firmly in sections; do not glide. Cover edges and corners. 4. Peel while hot and watch the design — if any part lifts, stop, lay the carrier back down, add heat and pressure, then retry. 5. Cover with baking paper, parchment or a Teflon sheet and press firmly again.

DTF — Wash & Care

Wait at least 24 hours before washing. Wash inside out · cool or gentle cycle · no bleach or harsh chemicals · never iron directly over the transfer. Suitable for cotton, polyester, cotton blends, hoodies and fleece — always check the garment manufacturer's heat tolerance first.

UV DTF — Application

Apply at 18–28°C on a clean, dry surface with firm, even pressure. Cure 24 hours.
1. Clean the surface with 70–90% isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. 2. Align the design; masking tape helps with larger transfers. 3. Squeegee from the centre outward with firm, even pressure. 4. Slowly peel the carrier film back over itself at a low angle — if it lifts, lay it down and press again. 5. Leave undisturbed 24 hours before washing, heavy handling or moisture.

UV DTF — Aftercare

Isopropyl alcohol is for the bare surface BEFORE application only. AFTER application, avoid alcohol, acetone, solvents, bleach, abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, scraping and picking at the edges. Clean with mild soap, water and a soft cloth. Suitable surfaces: glass, tumblers, plastic, metal, ceramic, acrylic, vehicle surfaces and suitably finished wood — test first if unsure.
