Choose your sheet size
Every sheet is 58 cm wide. A4, A3 and the half metre are fixed sizes. From 1 metre up, you choose the length in 10 cm steps and the longer it is, the bigger the bulk discount.
Printed from 58 cm ร 100 m rollsBoth DTF and UV DTF run on the same roll width, so any length from 1 m to 100 m comes as one continuous sheet.

Measure first. Lay the garment flat and measure the space you want to fill. Kids' and fitted sizes usually need smaller prints.
Measure first. UV DTF likes flat, smooth areas. On tapered or curved items, size the design to the flat part so it doesn't wrinkle.

Add your designs at the size you want them printed. We lay them out with 1 cm gaps, pick the cheapest sheet they fit on, and show you how much room is left.

Pick your sheet size, grab the matching template and follow the guide for the app you use. Each guide is five steps from a blank page to a finished PNG.

Using something else?
- Canvas 58 cm wide at 300 DPI. That's 6850 pixels across. Set the length to match your sheet (see the table).
- Transparent background. Remove any fill or background layer before you add artwork.
- Designs at real size. At least 1 cm between designs and 5 mm from the edges.
- Export a PNG with transparency on, at 300 DPI. Works in Affinity, GIMP, Photopea, Inkscape and Procreate.
Procreate: the largest canvas depends on your iPad. If a full sheet won't fit, make each design at its print size and arrange them on the sheet in another app.

Artwork that prints clean
Eight rules that cover most problems before they happen, then two quick checks you can try with your own numbers.
Transparent background
Only the artwork prints. Anything that isn't transparent prints too, including white.
No white boxes
A white background prints as a white rectangle around your design.
1 cm between designs
This leaves room to cut each transfer out cleanly. Keep 5 mm from the sheet edge too.
No low-res images
Design at print size, 300 DPI. Enlarging a small image won't add any detail.
No soft glows or fades
Shadows, glows and see-through edges print speckled. Make edges solid.
No hairlines or tiny text
Keep lines at least 0.5 mm thick and text at least 6 pt so nothing breaks up.
No mockups or guides
Leave off t-shirt outlines, size labels, guides and crop marks. They'll print.

What is a gang sheet?
One sheet of transfer film with lots of designs printed on it together. You pay for the size of the sheet, not for each design, so filling it up gets you the most for your money. You cut the designs apart and apply them one at a time.
What's the difference between DTF and UV DTF?
DTF is for fabric. It's heat-pressed onto tees, hoodies, bags and caps. UV DTF is for hard, smooth surfaces like tumblers, glass, metal and acrylic. It sticks on with pressure and doesn't need heat. They're different materials, so each has its own sheet.
Can I put different designs on one sheet?
Yes, and that's the point of a gang sheet. Mix any designs and sizes you like, as long as there's at least 1 cm around each one. The planner will show you how they fit.
How much space should I leave between designs?
At least 1 cm between designs and 5 mm from the edges of the sheet. That gives you room to cut each one out cleanly without clipping the artwork.
Should I mirror my design?
No. Send it the right way round, exactly how you want it to look on the item.
Can I use Canva Free?
You can design in it, but Canva Free can't download a transparent background, and a white background prints white. Transparent PNG downloads need Canva Pro, Teams, Education or Nonprofits. If you're stuck, get in touch before you order.
Why does my design look blurry?
The image has too few pixels for the size you're printing it. Aim for 300 DPI at print size: a 25 cm wide design needs about 2950 pixels across. Try the sharpness check with your own numbers.
Does white in my design print?
Yes. White is printed as white ink. Only transparent areas don't print. If you want the colour of the item to show through somewhere, make that part transparent rather than white.
How long does it take?
Standard orders are shipped within 7 working days, and Rush orders within 3 working days.
How does the bulk discount work?
It's by the length of the sheet. From 2 m you get 10% off the per-metre rate, from 5 m 20%, from 9 m 30%, from 25 m 40% and from 50 m 50%. The calculator applies it for you.
What if my length isn't a round number?
Sheets by length go up in 10 cm steps and we round up, so 1.45 m is charged as 1.5 m. Lengths start at 1 m; under that, A4, A3 or the half metre is cheaper.
How long can one sheet be?
Up to 100 m, the full roll. Both DTF and UV DTF are printed on 58 cm ร 100 m rolls.
